3. Services

Chhabra Logistics Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based transport and logistics company providing road freight and warehousing services to businesses across Australia. Our services include, but are not limited to:

• Interstate Road Freight: Scheduled full truckload (FTL) and less than truckload (LTL) freight services between Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and regional centres.
• Container Cartage: Pickup and delivery of 20ft and 40ft shipping containers from Port Botany and other ports to designated destinations using sideloader and skeletal trailer equipment.
• Local Sydney Transport: Metropolitan distribution and delivery services across Greater Sydney, including same-day and scheduled runs.
• Warehouse and Handling: Short-term and long-term storage, cross-docking, container devanning, pallet handling, and inventory management at our Western Sydney facility.

The specific scope, pricing, and conditions of any service provided to you will be detailed in a quotation, service agreement, or consignment note issued by the Company. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and a specific written service agreement, the terms of the service agreement shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

4. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations provided by Chhabra Logistics are estimates based on the information you supply at the time of your enquiry. Quotations are subject to the following conditions:

• Quotations are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Quoted prices are based on the freight type, origin, destination, cargo dimensions, weight, and any special handling requirements you have disclosed. If the actual details differ from those provided, the final price may be adjusted accordingly.
• Quotations do not constitute a binding contract until a booking is confirmed in writing by the Company and accepted by the client.
• Final pricing will be confirmed upon booking and may be affected by factors including, but not limited to, fuel price fluctuations, tolls, port fees, detention charges, waiting time, and changes to regulatory requirements.
• Prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise indicated. GST will be applied at the current rate where applicable.

We reserve the right to decline a quotation request or withdraw a quotation at any time prior to booking confirmation.

5. Booking and Cancellation

5.1 Booking Process

To book a service, you must submit a quote request through our Website, contact us by phone or email, or accept a formal quotation in writing. Upon receipt of your booking request, we will confirm availability and provide a booking confirmation detailing the agreed service, schedule, and pricing. A booking is only considered confirmed once you receive written confirmation from the Company.

5.2 Cancellation by the Client

If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please notify us as soon as possible. The following cancellation terms apply:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time will generally not incur a cancellation fee, except where costs have already been incurred (such as allocated equipment, driver time, or third-party charges).
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted service price to cover committed resources.
• Cancellations made after the vehicle has been dispatched, or failure to make cargo available for pickup ("no-show"), may incur the full quoted service price.

5.3 Cancellation by the Company

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, road closures, vehicle breakdown, industrial action, port disruptions, or compliance with regulatory directions. In such cases, we will use reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement or reschedule the service at no additional cost to you. We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from such cancellations.

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 Freight Insurance

Unless expressly agreed in writing, quotations and services do not include freight insurance. We strongly recommend that clients arrange appropriate transit and cargo insurance for their goods. If you require us to arrange insurance on your behalf, please advise us at the time of booking and we will provide a separate quotation for the premium.

6.2 Liability Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the liability of Chhabra Logistics Pty Ltd for any loss or damage to goods in transit, storage, or handling shall be limited in accordance with the provisions of the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act 1991 (Cth), state-based road transport legislation, and any applicable industry standards. Our liability for loss or damage shall not exceed the lesser of:

• The declared value of the goods, as specified by the client at the time of booking; or
• A maximum of AUD $200 per tonne or AUD $20,000 per consignment, whichever is lower, where no value has been declared.

The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profit, loss of market, loss of opportunity, or business interruption, arising from the provision of services except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

6.3 Claims Process

If you believe goods have been lost or damaged during transit or while in our care, you must:

• Note the damage on the delivery documentation at the time of delivery, where possible.
• Notify the Company in writing within 7 days of delivery or the expected delivery date.
• Provide supporting documentation, including photographs, delivery notes, and proof of the value of the goods.

Claims submitted after the 7-day notification period may be declined. We will investigate all valid claims promptly and respond within a reasonable timeframe, typically 21 business days from receipt of all required documentation.
